When: Friday, May 11, After School: 2:45-4:45 PM (Rain or Shine)
Where: Schechter Westchester Upper School Soccer Field. 555 West Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale, NY.
Who: All teens – guys and girls. No soccer experience needed.
Rules: Teams of 3, small fields, 10-15 minute games, small goals, no goalies, no referees. Come with 2 friends, or we will place you on a team.
Dress: No Cleats! Comfortable clothes, sneakers.
Snacks: A complimentary ice-cream truck will be available as well as snacks and drinks.
Prizes: Best team,
Supporters: Wear your Grassroot T-shirt with pride and cheer on your favorite teams.
Most important rule: Have fun!
About Grassroot Soccer Westchester
The Grassroot Soccer (GRS) Westchester Club was started by a group of teenagers, with family in South Africa and a love of soccer, who came together to help less fortunate young people in Africa and other countries by raising money and awareness for Grassroot Soccer. Last year, we hosted the second annual GRS Westchester 3v3 Tournament with over 90 participants from our community, friends

Positive Tracks is providing organizational support for the tournament and matching what we raise, up to $1,000.
Positive Tracks (positivetracks.org) is a national, sports-based youth development organization that helps youth get active and give back. Positive Tracks combines philanthropy and athletics to enroll young people – as partners, participants, and leaders – in making the world a better place, starting with themselves.

Soccer and Rugby Imports, with locations in Westchester and Connecticut, has generously agreed to donate $250 worth of gift cards for our tournament, which will be given out as prizes.
